Ever since its release this past February, Crysis 3 has been offering all kinds of Nanosuit powers like knocking players into the middle of next week and launching arrows into heads with the best bow ever created. Crytek revealed today it is just getting started.
The first piece of downloadable content has been revealed for the sequel and we’ll be getting our hands on it next week. In The Lost Island, players will be able to play on four new multiplayer maps and use a slew of new weapons, though they haven’t been detailed just yet. The map pack will set you back $15 and will be released on June 4th for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC.
“By transporting players out of the Liberty Dome and into the Lost Island setting, we’re not only returning to Crysis’ spiritual roots, but also introducing fresh ways to play that provide Crysis 3 fans with genuinely game-changing new tactical options,” said Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek.
The pack will also come with two great-sounding multiplayer modes: Frenzy and Possession. Guess it’s time to get back in the Nanosuit…
