Limbo is easily considered one of this generation’s better “indie” efforts, a moody black-and-white platformer pitting a little boy against dangerous odds as he looks for his sister. Now the game is seeking out a new portable audience.
Following its success on the PlayStation Network over the past year, PlayDead Games has announced that Limbo is coming to the PS Vita next week. It’ll be released on June 4th for $14.99 and a day later for European audiences.
The Limbo port was put together by Double Eleven, the same studio that worked on the PS Vita version of LittleBigPlanet. Though it doesn’t feature any new components like touch-screen support, its thorough gameplay and thrilling presentation should be more than enough to draw you in.
“Happy dying,” said Dino Patti, CEO and co-founder of PlayDead, in a PlayStation Blog post.
Another quality release for the PS Vita? We’ll take it!
