Remember a while back when Tribute Games launched and successfully met a KickStarter program for a side-scrolling Metal Slug-like run-and-gun title called Mercenary Kings? If not, don’t worry – you can now experience this blissful arcade-style game for yourself.
Tribute announced that the game is now available through Steam’s Early Access program. You can purchase the early version for $15 – where it’s normally priced at $20 – or buy copies for you and your friends, up to four, for $45.
According to the developers, the game “currently has 60 missions whereas the completed version of the game will have over 100. This version of the game still needs your feedback to get it in the best possible shape and it’s why we are releasing it now!” Those who purchase it will be upgraded to the full version for free when it’s ready.
