How to Craft Uber Unique Items in Diablo 4

Make the Shako yourself

Uber Unique items have been the main reason to grind the end game in Diablo 4, and now players can start crafting them for better rolls. However, the crafting process is not easy by any means, so I’ll outline how you can get started.

To Craft an Uber Unique item, bring five Resplendent Sparks and 50,000,000 gold to an Alchemist. Once you have at least five Resplendant Sparks, the Alchemist gives you the option to craft any Uber Unique that you want in Diablo 4. The rolls should always be the same on the Affixes, but I have personally seen some players get a slightly different variation on an Uber drop. Regardless, it’s all about the main effect.

Keep in mind that you can’t see the affixes on the Uber Unqiues when you look at the crafting preview. The main effects are listed but the five affixes are hidden until you use your Resplendant Sparks. However, you can always look up the possible affixes before you spend those hard-earned resources.

How to Get Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4

Resplendent Sparks are earned by deconstructing any of the Uber Unique items that you already have. You’ll get one Resplendent Spark for each Uber Unique you dismantle. You can do this at any Alchemist under the Transmute tab (previously known as “Refine Resources”). You then just need to select the Uber Unique you want to dismantle, and a Resplendent Spark should appear among the list of salvaged resources. Of course, that means you need to start hunting for the Uber drops on your own before you start crafting.

How to Get Uber Unique Items in Diablo 4

You can earn Uber Unique items as a random drop after killing Duriel, opening chests in Helltides, or nearly any other end-game activity. Uber items always have a chance to drop when you open a chest or kill a boss, but the odds are incredibly low. Grinding out battles with Duriel will still be your best shot at a rare drop.

Crafting Uber Unique Items in Diablo 4

To summarize, to craft an Uber Unique item in Diablo 4,

  • Salvage your Uber Unique drops for Resplendent Sparks.
  • Use five Resplendent Sparks and 50,000,000 gold at an Alchemist to craft an Uber Unique.
  • Select the one you want under the Transmute tab.

This change is part of Diablo 4 as of February 13, 2023. Along with the ability to craft Uber Uniques, the global drop rate has increased. Grinding Duriel will still be the best way to earn one of these rare item drops, but not all players have the chance to find them in other spots. After all, you can’t craft any of them without finding one first.

Initially, there was speculation that the Uber drops might transfer over to new seasons if they were unused, but that’s not the case for now. So, if you find any Ubers that you don’t want to use, start breaking them down under the Transmute option.

If you haven’t started the grind for these drops yet, get started with Grigoire in the end game.
