Saints Row IV Gets Commander-in-Chief Edition With Bonus Goodies

Because we love 'Merica!

Saints Row IV promises liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of others with a Dubstep gun when it comes out later this Summer.  Now Deep Silver is enticing would-be buyers with a special edition of the game.

Dubbed the Commander-In-Chief edition, it will actually be the same price as the regular version, but it will come with a handful of cool goodies to make your gameplay experience more patriotic.  This includes an Uncle Sam outfit, a Screaming Eagle jet, and the ‘Merica Gun, which is no doubt going to unleash patriotic justice on criminals and aliens.

The Screaming Eagle jet sounds awesome in its own right, as it “fires rockets out of its talons and can invoke the Sonic Scream attack, leaving your enemies dazed, confused and likely scarred for life.”  Yep, we’d definitely fly around in that thing.

You can pre-order the Commander-In-Chief edition, which will set you back $59.99 ($49.99 for PC), the same price as the regular game.  But hurry, chances are this’ll sell out quick.  Because ‘Merica!

Saints Row IV arrives for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on August 20th.  Read our first look to get a better idea just how crazy it gets.  (Hint: pretty crazy.)
