While upgrading your base in Palworld, you’ll notice how the Palbox eventually asks you to build your Statue of Power, a monument representing the Anubis Pal. This statue can give you plenty of powerful bonuses, so here’s what you need to know about it.
Statue of Power in Palworld Explained
The Statue of Power is a structure that you unlock rather early in the game. You can make it with 20 Stones and 10 Paldium Fragments. It allows you to enhance certain stats for both players and Pals that you can’t enhance anywhere else by offering it certain resources. Lifmunk Effigy and Pal Souls (including Small, Medium and Large), to be more specific.
To upgrade these stats, simply approach the Statue and select either Enhance Player Stats or Enhance Pals. Players can enhance their Pal catch rate with the Lifmunk Effigies, and you can also increase your Pal’s base stats by offering Souls.
For Pals, you can increase their HP, Attack, Defense and Work Power by initially offering Small Pal Souls. Later upgrades require Medium Pal Souls, and the strongest ones will ask for your Large Pal Souls.
Should You Upgrade the Statue of Power?
Yes, as these are some of the best upgrades in the game. There’s no other way to use Souls or Lifmunk Effigies, so you can toss them at your statue without worrying. The early upgrades require just a few Effigies, but the amount starts increasing very quickly, so it’ll be harder to increase your catch rate later.
As for Pals, they can have different passive abilities depending on which one you caught. So, make sure you have one with good passives that you’ll be 100% sure to keep. This is because Souls are hard to come by, so try not to waste them.
How to Find Lifmunk Effigies and Pal Souls
Lifmunk Effigies are scattered around the map, while Pal Souls are random drops from some Pals such as Nox. You can also find Souls of different grades randomly at Treasure Chests. They’re harder to come by than Effigies, so be careful not to waste them.
You’ll come across lots of those while exploring to expand your base eventually, so think of it as a gradual upgrade as a result of your travels. That’s the core of a Survival game after all, even if it’s filled with Pokemon-like creatures.
