How to Enter the Abattoir of Zir in Diablo 4

The hardest content during the Diablo 4 Season of Blood has arrived in the form of the Abattoir of Zir. Compared to other Pinnacle Dungeons though, there are some additional requirements before you can enter. I have them listed in this guide.

Diablo 4: How to Start the Abattoir of Zir

To enter the Abattoir of Zir, you need to complete every Chapter in the Season of Blood Journey and then craft a Bloodforged Sigil in World Tier IV. Crafting the sigil will open up a blood portal within Ked Bardu that you can enter. This brings you to the Pinnacle Dungeon itself and you’ll have some of the hardest content yet to conquer.

If you can’t see any options to craft a Bloodforged Sigil in Diablo 4, then you haven’t made enough progress in the Season of Blood. To finish every Chapter, you will need to reach level 100, take down a Tier 90 Nightmare Dungeon, and defeat Duriel or Uber Lilith. You can only skip one challenge in the final tier, so choose wisely.

How to Enter the Abattoir of Zir:

• Complete the Season of Blood season journey.
• Craft a Bloodforged Sigil at any Occultis.
• Use the sigil to open a portal in Ked Bardu.
• Take the portal to the Abattoir of Zir dungeon.

Once you finish all the seasonal chapters, you can head to any Occultist to craft the first tier of the Bloodforged Sigil. All you need for this is 800 Sigil Powder, which is easy to farm once you’re at level 100 anyway. But you can only craft the first tier for now. To access the other tiers, you have to continue beating the dungeon.

Once you beat the Abattoir Pinnacle Dungeon, you’ll have access to a higher tear, and you earn the Tears of Blood Glyph as a reward. It’s one of the most powerful in the game, so don’t miss out.

If you are behind on resources for the sigil to enter, make sure to start farming sigil powder in advance before Tears of Blood goes away.
