Where to Get the Dragon’s Breath Rocket Launcher in Destiny 2

To get the Dragon’s Breath in Destiny 2, you’ll either want to purchase the season pass for Season of the Wish or reach level 35 with Season of the Wish’s free track. You’ll need to do quite a bit of grinding if you don’t want to give Bungie some money, but those who drop the cash will get the Dragon’s Breath instantly.

The Dragon’s Breath holds the intrinsic trait Composite Propellant, which causes the rockets fired to embed in the target and eject pools of heat that inflict Scorch damage. The more time you take between shots, the more heat pools will be sent out. This makes the rocket uniquely equipped for area damage, but it shouldn’t be used for something like a boss encounter in raids. There are much better rockets for those scenarios. The launcher also contains the traits Volatile Launch, Black Powder, and High Octane.

How to Get the Dragon’s Breath Catalyst

To get the Dragon’s Breath’s exotic catalyst in Destiny 2, you’ll want to own the exotic from the season pass and then visit Banshee-44 in the Tower. Here, you can purchase and complete the Old Flame exotic quest. Once that’s done, you’ll need to kill 100 enemies affected by Scorch to activate the catalyst. The catalyst itself is named Pyromancer and increases Dragon’s Breath fuel from Composite Propellant.
