The only title Genshin Impact didn’t put on Furina is Shield, and even that is possible with a Geo character who can crystallize. As an archon, Furina is a terrific unit to add to your party with a fairly flexible build that won’t break your back for equipment.

Furina Basic Attack and Skills Explained in Genshin Impact
Furina is a unique character for our Fontaine lineup since she is the only one who can use both Ousia and Pneuma-aligned attacks. Her kit covers everything as a healer, supporter, sub-dps, or main DPS if you equip the right artifacts on her. Here’s a rundown of her skills in battle so you’re not too overwhelmed by the amount she has going on in her kit.
Basic Attack: Furina has up to four basic attacks, with her Charged Attack triggering her change from Ousia to Pneuma. She will unleash a minor AOE Physical Damage attack and change her alignment each time a Charged Attack is used.Â
Elemental Skill: Depending on which Arke or Alignment Furina is in, unleashing her skill will summon her Salon Solitaire to the field.
- Ousia – When in alignment with Ousia, three salon members will gather onto the field and deal Hydro Damage based on Furina’s Max HP. If team members have more than 50% Health, their power will increase as they consume the HP for increased Damage.
- Pneuma – When in alignment with Pneuma, a single member of the Salon Solitaire will take to the field. The Singer of Many Waters heals nearby allies in intervals based on Furina’s Max HP and shares the same duration.
The names of the three members of the Salon Solitaire are Gentilhomme Usher (Octopus), Surintendante Chevalmarin (Seahorse), and Mademoiselle Crabaletta (Crab). These Salon members will float about on the field, attacking nearby enemies, and can even be taken underwater.Â
Furina can freely switch between the two different Alignments with her Charged Attack, even with the Salon Solitaire already on the field. Since they share the same duration, whenever Furina first summons the Salon to the field, the countdown will begin until they’ve used up their energy.Â
By using her Elemental Skill, Furina can freely walk on water for the same duration that her Salon is on the field. This can help with exploration and puzzle-solving while exploring the rest of Teyvat.
Elemental Burst: By triggering a state of Universal Revelry, Furina’s team can gain Fanfare points by the state of their HP, whether it increases or decreases. For each Health point consumed or recovered, the Fanfare equally increases, which will buff the team’s Damage and Healing.Â
Since Furina is already in the party and her Skill can equally consume and recover her team’s Health, she can buff their damage further as well as her own if the Salon is already on the field. Through the use of other team members, such as Fontaine Characters, they can be heavily buffed thanks to Furina’s Ultimate.
Best Weapons for Furina in Genshin Impact
Furina has multiple options for her weapons, but the main thing to focus on is that if you don’t have a weapon that focuses on Crit Rate/Damage or Attack, you’ll want to aim for Energy Recharge.Â
Her signature weapon, Splendor of Tranquil Waters, will be the best in-slot weapon for her, with Skyward Blade, Haran Geppaku Futsu, and most Five-Star weapons being good replacements in case her weapon doesn’t come home and you end up with Baizhu’s donut catalyst instead.Â
But Furina has many Four-Star weapons that would work for her just as well, such as the Fishing Weapon, Fleuve Cendre Ferryman, and if you’re veteran enough, Festering Desire is also a great Event weapon that will suit Furina’s kit plenty. Another great weapon for Furina that may involve your wallet’s final decision is Wolf-Fang from the Battlepass. As one of the newest weapons introduced in the Fontaine patches, Wolf-Fang is based on Crit Rate and increases both elemental Skill Damage as well as the Elemental Burst.Â
Furina’s kit makes it fairly forgiving no matter which weapon you decide to go with, so you’re sure to find something that works as long as you pair it with the right artifacts.
Best Artifact Sets and Stats for Furina in Genshin Impact
As a DPS and Support, there are a couple of different options players can take when choosing which artifacts they have. If you find that there aren’t good enough sub-stats within your artifacts, you are free to mix and match any of the following sets: Golden Troupe, Vourukasha’s Glow, and Tenacity of the Millelith.
On one hand, a well-rounded build for Furina is to use a full site of Golden Troupe since it increases Elemental Skill damage whenever the wearer isn’t on the field. Vourukasha’s Glow and Tenacity of the Millelith both increase HP when only at two pieces, so if players don’t have a great set of sub-stats or main stats for the Golden Troupe, mixing it with these sets will increase Elemental Skill Damage and HP.
Furina’s healing, support, and damage are based on her Max HP, so there is the option of just using HP-increasing artifact sets if players have great substats on those sets. When rolling for sub-stats, it’s best to go for HP Percentage, Energy Recharge, and Crit Rate/Damage. As for the Sands, Goblet, and Crown, it’s best to go with HP Percentage for the Sands, Hydro Damage Bonus for the Goblet, and Crit Damage for the Crown as an overall DPS build. There is also the option of going HP percentage for all three if the Crit Rate/Damage stats are good on the player’s artifacts.Â
Furina’s kit allows for a lot to be experimented with, and no matter which builds you go with, you’re sure to find something that will make her a valuable asset to any team you pair her with.
