Diablo 4: Nightmare Dungeon Tier List in Season 2

It's all about efficiency

Nightmare Dungeons are still the best way to farm XP in Diablo 4 Season 2 while also leveling your Glyphs. Not all dungeons are created equal though, so I put together a tier list that sorts each Nightmare variant by effective XP gains.

What are the Best Nightmare Dungeons in Diablo 4 Season 2?

Some of the best Nightmare Dungeons to farm in the Season of Blood include Sirocco Caverns and the Flooded Depths. They are dungeons with tons of enemy density and easy objectives based on combat. Below, you can find them all listed in tiers from best to worst regarding solo XP gains.

S-Tier

  • Sirocco Caverns
  • Flooded Depths
  • Belfry Zakara
  • Sanguine Chapel

A-Tier

  • Deserted Underpass
  • Light’s Watch
  • Fetid Mausoleum
  • Hallowed Ossuary

B-Tier

  • Carrion Fields
  • Conclave
  • Oldstones
  • Steadfast Barracks
  • Grinning Labyrinth
  • Whispering Vault
  • Buried Halls
  • Renegade’s Retreat

C-Tier

  • Jalal’s Visage
  • Forbidden City
  • Tormented Ruins
  • Broken Bulwark
  • Vault of the Forsaken
  • Bloodsoaked Crag
  • Crusader’s Cathedral

D-Tier

  • Inferno
  • Endless Gates
  • Heathen’s Keep
  • Ghoa Ruins
  • Luban’s Rest
  • Leviathan’s Maw
  • Sepulcher of the Forsworn

Other factors can change the effectiveness of the Nightmare Dungeons tier list as well. Modifiers play a massive part in how quickly you can power through each level. Personally, I avoid anything with Suppressor modifiers on because I know the whole place is going to be an XP speedbump instead of a farm.

Completing dungeons for the goal of Glyph XP will also change the rankings a bit. However, you can passively get that done as you race toward your goal of level 100 in Diablo 4 Season 2, so I wouldn’t worry too much about that. By the time you reach higher tiers, earning Glyph experience will be super fast. Just make sure you don’t wait too long to get started.

As always, have elixirs on to boost how fast the XP gains are. Having a squad can also speed up the process, and you can have the party split up to earn more XP at nearly double the rate. But this also changes which dungeons are best.
