This past Thursday, GameStop announced that it was taking pre-orders for both the basic and premium Wii U bundles releasing on November 18th. Obviously the bigger draw of the two was the Premium, featuring a much bigger memory storage capacity (32 GB compared to 8 GB) and the inclusion of the game Nintendo Land.
Maybe it’s a little too popular, eh? Just four days after initially announcing pre-orders, GameStop has confirmed that it has completely sold out of premium Wii U system bundles and isn’t taking any more pre-orders. Talk about being high in demand.
For the record, though, you can still jump on the Wii U train at GameStop. The catch is you’ll need to do it with the basic Wii U bundle. If you want the system it’s not the end of the world…even though it’s not in black.
