How to Get Cleansing Acid in Diablo 4

Cleanse the Pact

Both the Season Journey and the Pact system in Diablo 4 Season 2 will require you to find some Cleansing Oil at some point in your adventure. There aren’t a lot of pointers to find the oil but I can help you easily obtain it so you can utilize the best combination of Pacts in the Season of Blood. Here’s how to get Cleansing Acid in Diablo 4.

Where to Get Cleansing Acid in Diablo 4

You can get Cleansing Acid by crafting it at any Alchemist station with Potent Blood or by opening chests in Blood Harvest events around Sanctuary. Crafting is by far the easiest and most reliable method for getting Cleansing Oil in Season 2, so you should start collecting as much Potent Blood as you can.

Simply participating in Blood Harvests and opening chests, whether they are Seeker Caches or Opulent, is a secondary method for getting oil. This should be reserved as a passive option though, and you don’t really want to spend your time on this unless you want Pacts or Potent Blood. When you aim to farm blood instead, you’ll save yourself some time.

How to Craft Cleansing Acid in Diablo 4

  • Farm Blood Harvests for Potent Blood
  • Head to the Alchemist station
  • Spend 100 Potent Blood for one Cleansing Acid vial

There are four versions of the oil that you can craft at the Alchemist. You can make a general option or you can craft an oil that is meant for removing one Pact type alone. If you like a piece of gear and some of the Pacts, then you want a specific oil instead. But if you want to wipe the slate clean then I would use the general oil.
