As part of the Home Chef Hustle stuff pack in The Sims 4, you can prep ingredients by purchasing a ChowBella Stand Mixer in the build menu for 750 Simoleons, placing it on a counter, and selecting the appliance to choose your food. Prepping ingredients costs money, but you can reduce the cost by gathering and using fresh ingredients. Your prep options also scale with your cooking level, with level four unlocking every available stand mixer recipe.

If you have the Simple Living lot challenge, you’ll have to gather various ingredients to make prepped foods such as flour, vegetables, and fish. If you have a vegetarian or lactose-intolerant Sim, you can also make meat substitutes and lactose-free batters to cook with.

The Appliance Wiz introduces various objectives related to the stand mixer, like collecting prepped ingredients while inspired, using fresh ingredients, and gathering excellent-quality prepped ingredients. You’ll naturally finish these as you use the appliance more often and increase your cooking skills, with skills like gardening and fishing pairing well with them.
