How to Fix the Generator in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

If you’re stepping into the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time, then you’ll want to know that some objectives don’t hold your hand. They instead want you to find the answer yourself. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean a high chance that you’ll be confused. One such objective happens pretty quickly in the main story. Here’s how to fix the generator in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.

How to Get the Generator Running in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

This objective shows up as you reach the Lucretia My Reflection mission in the main story. You and President Myers have reached the hideout Songbird gave you and need to rest while you wait for her to show up. While Myers gets changed into clothes that don’t say “I’m the President of the NUSA” in big, bold letters, you must fix a generator to turn on the power.

To fix the generator in Phantom Liberty, you’ll need to scan and take a battery from a nearby drone. The drone is located in the main room, next to the pillar closest to the front door. Scan the drone, take its battery out, and return it to the generator. Once you insert it and V messes with the generator, it should start up and let you be free to continue with the mission.

While you’re fixing the generator, you and Johnny will talk as he mentions something about this job feeling off. How Songbird has just disappeared off the face of the Earth, and how Myers is clearly hiding something from V. How you respond to this is up to you since it won’t have any bearing on the events of the expansion. It’s just another eye into Johnny’s thoughts.
