Fae Farm: How to Get Frost Beets

Have your farming skills left you feeling frosty?

While a majority of the items that are required for quests in Fae Farm are quite simple to gather, there are a few that will leave you guessing. On top of this, the way that Fae Farm handles growing crops is a rather unusual concept. Combined, you may be left wondering how to obtain Frost Beets. Here is everything you need to know about getting your hands on Frost Beets in Fae Farm.

The first thing you must do to obtain Frost Beets is visit Holly in the Town Square and buy Turnip Seeds from her for 5 Florins a piece. You will also need to buy Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer from her. You could also craft it yourself if you have the materials.

Tip:

As long as you have the ingredients, crafting Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer is the superior choice, as you get ten bags of it every single time. You will need 1x Ammonite, 1x Frog Sweat, and 1x Mulch. Do this at the Garden Bench.

Following this, you can plant the turnip seeds in Fae Soil Beds (requires 1x Flutterwood Log, 1x Shade Jelly, and 1x Spriggan Leaf) at your regular Homestead, or you can plant them at your Fae location. When these beds are down, plant the turnip seeds and water them. Once watered, use the Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer on them. The fertilizer doesn’t work instantly, so you must return to see if the Turnips have changed into Frost Beets. You can tell as the image displayed when the square is selected will be of the crop. The Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer is not always successful, so it is a good idea to fertilize more than you need so that you do not have to start all over again.

Once converted, keep watering the crops like normal, and harvest when ready! If you have leftover Frost Beets, use the Garden Bench to turn them into seeds. This gives you 3x seeds for every 1x produce that you place inside. This is a fantastic way to generate more seeds without repeating the whole process.

Now that you know how to grow Frost Beets, you can use them to help you out as you work to save Azoria, such as using them in the Fireproof Potion.
