How to Get Reddamine in Diablo 4

Watch out for Hobbits.

There are all kinds of crafting ingredients in Diablo 4 used to create elixirs and upgrade your Healing Potions. Reddamine serves as the fungus-type of material within Sanctuary, and if you hope to start using higher-tier potions, you will need to start harvesting the red fungus. Here’s how to get Reddamine in DIablo 4.

Where to Find Reddamine in Diablo 4

You can find Reddamine in the Dry Steppes directly below the major town of Ked Bardu. When I followed the main road going south from Ked Bardu, I found plenty of spawns to harvest some easy Reddamine, and the fungus will respawn after some time away from the area.

Although I found my own specific area to harvest the red fungus, you don’t have to stick to the same path. In general, Reddamine is associated with the Dry Steppes. Every time you enter one of the five major zones, there will be a plant type that frequently grows around the entire region. Biteberry would be an example in the Fractured Peaks.

As you explore the Dry Steppes, you can even take on small world events that reward materials based on the region. When I completed events in the Dry Steppes, I was able to open up some chests containing bundles of Reddamine, along with some armor and gold.

The last method for collecting Reddamine is to open reward boxes or transfer materials at the Alchemist. When you refine five Gallowvine at the Alchemist in any major town, you can earn some red fungus in return. It’s all the more reason to collect any of the crafting materials you find as you explore Sanctuary in Diablo 4.
