If you’re looking to get your game on during the San Diego Comic Con (instead of, you know, attending panels with celebrities and stuff), there’ll be plenty of opportunity to do so. Along with a gaming lounge that Microsoft will be setting up at the Hard Rock Café across from the convention hall from Thursday through Sunday, you can also catch all the gaming action at the Nerd Machine SDCC HQ.
Yes, for the second year in a row, Chuck’s Zachary Levi and his crew at the Nerd Machine will be in attendance for their own event, and they’re setting up a gaming lounge where you’ll be able to play a number of big games, including Tomb Raider, Halo 4 and Hitman Absolution. But the real draw is the first public unveiling of the Gears of War: Judgment multiplayer mode Overrun, where you’ll either be defending or destroying a generator in the fastest time possible. The game will be set up at the HQ all weekend long.
If you’re not in town, you can still catch all the action through Spike TV, who plans to show off the game on Friday and Saturday night.
If you ARE in town, however, come down to the Block No. 16 Union and Spirits at 344 7th Avenue from Thursday through Sunday, and have a ball.
