How to Abandon a Quest in Hogwarts Legacy
Abandoning missions is easier said than done, depending on your situation. Generally speaking, you’ll have to open your Field Guide menu, enter your Quests, and pick the one you want to restart. From here, you’ll see an “Abandon Quest” option at the bottom of your screen, which you can press to reset the mission instantly. You can continue it from that point or leave to do other activities before returning to the scene.
However, one issue is that you won’t find this on every quest!
You may notice that only some missions have an abandon option when entering your quest menu. Instead, you may see track and untrack or one to locate the quest on your map. Usually, you’ll find the abandon option during missions where you dive into dungeons.
To see whether you can do this, just head into your menu, highlight the mission and look at the bottom of your screen for the option. If it is, you can restart it without issue; if it isn’t, you can either keep going until you finish or just walk away from the mission and continue later.
Hogwarts Legacy is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch through the official website. If you would like to learn more about the game, check out How to Mount Dragons in Hogwarts Legacy.
