How to Get Jotunn in Destiny 2

"Untamed. Destructive. As forceful and chaotic as Ymir himself." —Ada-1

If you’re gearing up for a raid, there’s one thing you always have to keep in mind: what will help me clear the encounter? The answer might just be Jotunn. Here’s how to get Jotunn in Destiny 2.

How to Get Jotunn in Destiny 2

Jotunn is a well-known name amongst Destiny veterans. This Exotic Fusion Rifle fits in your Energy weapon slot, leaving your Kinetic and Power open, which is always fantastic. But what’s garnered Jotunn’s fame is that it’s equally powerful in end game activities as it is in the Crucible and Gambit.

And if you’ve played any amount of Gambit, you’ve probably died to it. And that’s due in large part to its Exotic Perk, Charge Shot. This Perk allows a Guardian to hold down the trigger to charge up a tracking shot that explodes and burns on impact. Which goes hand-in-hand with Shield Disorient.

But how do you actually get it?

First, you’ll need the Forsaken Pack, which is on sale with the release of Lightfall. If you haven’t bought the Forsaken Pack before, now is a great time to do so.

With the Forsaken Pack in tow, head to the tower and approach the Monument to Lost Lights between the two vault terminals. It’s halfway between Banshee-44 and Lord Shaxx.

Access the Monument to Lost Lights, then head into Forsaken Exotics Year 2. If you’ve just bought the Forsaken Pack, you’ll be able to redeem three Forsaken Ciphers which will allow you to claim three of the listed exotics (except for Raid-related exotics) free of cost.

Otherwise, you’ll need to pay the following:

  • 1 Exotic Cipher
  • 125,000 Glimmer
  • 200 Microphasic Datalattice
  • 1 Ascendant Shard

It’s a high cost! But well worth it to have one of the best Exotics out there. If you are curious about other Exotics, check out how to get Winterbite, the Stasis Exotic Glaive!
