Which Path Should You Choose for Chasing Legends Pokemon GO?

From February 25 to February 26, Trainers can start participating in the Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn event around the world, and that means new challenges. The main challenges are tied to the Chasing Legends Special Research that allows you to choose a branching path.

Depending on the path you choose, you will receive different encounter rewards as you progress through the research challenges. Of course, you do not want to pick the path with rewards you will not like, so we are here to cover all the Special Research branches in Chasing Legends and the rewards tied to them.

Pokemon GO – Which Path Should You Choose for Chasing Legends Research?

As per usual, there are three different paths that you can choose when you get through the first step of the Special Research. Instead of play styles this time though, the paths are based on Pokemon. You can find all of the Special Research steps below so you can make an informed decision.

Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Chasing Legends 1/6:

• Power up Pokemon 15 times – 3 Incense Lures
• Rewards: 5 Kyogre Candies, 5 Groudon Candies, Absol Encounter

Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Chasing Legends: Gulpin Path 2/6:

• Use an Incense – Gulpin Encounter
• Catch 5 Gulpin – Gulpin Encounter
• Catch 10 different species of Pokemon – Gulpin Encounter
• Rewards: 2 Premium Battles Passes, 30 Poke Balls, 5 Ultra Balls

Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Chasing Legends: Cacnea Path 2/6:

• Use an Incense – Cacnea Encounter
• Catch 5 Cacnea – Cacnea Encounter
• Catch 10 different species of Pokemon – Cacnea Encounter
• Rewards: 2 Premium Battles Passes, 30 Poke Balls, 5 Ultra Balls

Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Chasing Legends: Surskit Path 2/6:

• Use an Incense – Surskit Encounter
• Catch 5 Surskit – Surskit Encounter
• Catch 10 different species of Pokemon – Surskit Encounter
• Rewards: 2 Premium Battles Passes, 30 Poke Balls, 5 Ultra Balls

• Spin 15 Poke Stops and Gyms – Plusle Encounter
• Explore 1km – Solrock Encounter
• Catch 10 Fire, Grass, or Ground-type Pokemon – Trapinch Encounter
• Catch 1 Groudon – Volbeat Encounter
• Rewards: Castform Encounter, 10 Groudon Candies, 200 Groudon Primal Energy for the Ruby Ticket

Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Chasing Legends 4/6:

• Spin 15 Poke Stops and Gyms – Minun Encounter
• Explore 1km – Lunatone Encounter
• Catch 10 Water, Electric, or Bug-type Pokemon – Wailmer Encounter
• Catch 1 Kyogre – Illumise Encounter
• Rewards: Castform Encounter, 10 Kyogre Encounters, 200 Kyogre Primal Energy for the Sapphire Ticket

Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Chasing Legends 5/6:

• Activate Primal Reversion – 1 Rocket Radar
• Defeat a Team GO Rocket Leader – 3 Revives
• Rewards: 1 Charged TM, 1 Fast TM

Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Chasing Legends 6/6:

• Claim Reward – 2023 XP
• Claim Reward – 2023 Stardust
• Rewards: Spinda Encounter

Many of the rewards in these tasks contain Pokemon with shiny form debuts, so good luck adding to your overall shiny collection during the event.
