As of right now there are three different options if you’re planning to purchase a Yakuza: Like a Dragon pre-order. If you preorder a physical version at retailers like Amazon or GameStop, you’ll get the Day Ichi edition at the normal $59.99 price point. You’ll also be able to pre-order the Day Ichi edition digitally, including on Steam. Beyond that, there are the Hero ($69.99) and Legendary Hero ($89.99) editions, which are available for all platforms but only as a digital purchase.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon Pre-Order Guide
Regardless of which version you pick, you’ll get the Legends Costume Pack as a pre-order bonus. This is a set of costumes based on previous Yakuza series characters, including Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, Taiga Saejima, Daigo Dojima, Ryuji Goda, Makoto Date, Haruka Sawamura, and Kaoru Sayama. Sega hasn’t revealed what else comes with the Day Ichi edition just yet, but physical orders will come in a Steelbook case.

If you go for the Hero edition, you’ll also get the Job Set and Management Mode set DLC. The Job set gives you two additional character Jobs, Devil Rocker and Matriarch. The Management Mode set gives you three packs of Management Mode employees, including various Yazuka alumni.
Naturally, the Legendary Hero edition comes with all of the above, and more. You’ll also receive the Crafting set, Karaoke set, Ultimate Costume set, and Stat Boost set DLC. None of this DLC is individually priced yet, but they are listed a la carte on Steam.
We don’t have a release date yet, although the Xbox website has is listed (perhaps mistakenly) for November 13, 2020.Yakuza: Like a Dragon is also coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X, both featuring upgrade options for current-gen customers. No details are out for PS5 yet, but Like a Dragon has already been confirmed as a Smart Delivery participant on the Xbox side.
