In this guide, we are going to give you a full rundown of the Xbox Summer Game Fest event, including its start and end date, playable demos, and more.

When Is the Xbox Summer Game Fest Event

The Xbox Summer Game Fest Event will run from July 21-27 and take place via the Xbox dashboard. The event is available for free to anyone who owns an Xbox and will allow players to download and try out “between 75 and 100” demos for upcoming Xbox games, according to the announcement. Further, some of these games will be coming out in the near future, while others will still be a ways away. The full list of Xbox Summer Game Fest demos haven’t been announced yet, but below are the games that have been confirmed at the time of writing.

  • Cris Tales
  • Destroy All Humans!
  • Haven
  • Hellpoint
  • Skatebird
  • The Vale: Shadow of the Crown
  • Raji: An Ancient Epic
  • Welcome to Elk

A lot of the gameplay demos that will be available during the Xbox Summer Game Fest are quite similar to those that E3 and PAX attendees would get to play. Further, while some of the demos will represent a close experience to that of the final version of a game, other demos will offer incredibly early access to games and will allow players to go hands-on with a far from finished product. This means that players will be able to voice their opinions on different games and offer feedback to hopefully allow developers to make an even better product.
