Will Beta Progress Carry Over in XDefiant?

During XDefiant’s Closed Beta, you’ll have from April 13 to 23, 2023, to play the game as much as possible. Throughout this time, you can raise your stats, gain various rewards, and even participate in Twitch drop events to get skins for guns like the D50 and MK22. A lot can happen in this time, depending on how much you play!

With that in mind, there is some good and bad news. The good news is that if you got the Violet weapon skins during the Twitch Drops event, you’ll keep these when XDefiant officially launches! Any other exclusive items you gain from the Reward Track throughout this time will also carry over, meaning you won’t lose everything you obtained during the Closed Beta.

What’s the bad news, then? You’ll lose everything else. Any in-game player and weapon progression you make during the game’s beta period will be gone after XDefiant releases. You’ll keep your rewards, but for the most part, you’ll have to start from square one when you play the game after its full launch.

Make sure also to check the official XDefiant Closed Beta FAQ for details on what this period entails, including how to invite friends and the game’s system requirements.

XDefiant is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S alongside PlayStation 4 and Xbox One upon full release. To learn more about the game, check out our complete list of XDefiant guides by clicking the tag below!
