How to Get Secret Service Underarmor in Fallout 76

To acquire Secret Service Underarmor in Fallout 76, you must first progress through the main storyline until you complete Vault 79 and uncover the leftover gold deposits that supposedly will kickstart the new world’s economy. Once you’ve done that, you’ll unlock Regs, a new vendor that exclusively deals in Gold Bullion in Vault 79. He will sell you the plans for Secret Service Underarmor for 250 Gold Bullion.

Depending on your level and how often you partake in community events, you should have plenty of Gold Bullion to buy the suit. It’s also not tough to craft at an Armor Workbench.

How Good is Secret Service Underarmor?

As far as under armor goes, the Secret Service getup is one of the most stylish in the game. It has a sleek, militaristic appearance that pairs extremely well with most power armor suits in the game.

But without modifications, it’s a moot point as to how good Secret Service Underarmor is or isn’t. You need the mods, which include:

Armor ModificationResistanceEffect
Standard Lining
Treated Lining+6+2 Strength
+2 Endurance
Resistant Lining+9+2 Strength
+2 Perception
+2 Endurance
Protective Lining+12+2 Strength
+2 Perception
+4 Endurance
Shielded Lining+15+4 Strength
+2 Perception
+4 Endurance

You will, of course, want Shielded Lining. That said, it requires:

  • Plan: Shielded Lining Secret Service Underarmor
  • 11x Ballistic Fiber
  • 15x Circuitry
  • 4x Stable Fluorescent Flux

As you can see, it’s costly. Those are end-game tier resources that not everyone will have in abundance without significant farming.

Speaking of farming during the end game, you’ll likely want to track down a few Yao Guai in Fallout 76 for their resources and experience points.
