Where to Get Quartz in Starsand Island
Some windows for your farm..
Quartz is the main resource for getting Glass, unlocking several other crafts in Starsand Island. They aren’t needed in high amounts, but you’ll definitely want them, especially if you go into decorating.
Here’s a quick guide on how to get Quartz and what it’s used for in Starsand Island.
How to Get Quartz in Starsand Island

In Starsand Island, you can get Quartz pretty much at the start of the game. Once you reach Moonlit Forest, you’ll start seeing some rocks with some green ores or minerals on them. These are the Quartz nodes. They aren’t as common as Flourite and Copper Ores, so you might have trouble finding one if you don’t look around.
The Moonlit Forest is part of the early tutorial, but if you can’t find it, it is just north of your home, with a pathway leading to a gate that transports you there.
Make sure you have already crafted a Pickaxe and bring it with you.

In the Moonlit Forest, just keep running north and keep looking for those green-looking ores. If you are looking for Quartz early in your playthrough, you can just go all the way to the Gate of Life and mine all the ores, including all the Quartz you see.
You’ll need to unlock a few more quests to go past the Dreamfall Garden and get the other ores.
How to Get Glass in Starsand Island

Quartzite is used to make Glass Bricks in the Furnace, then you turn Glass Bricks into Glass in the Cutter, which unlocks a lot of different crafts, like a Jam Maker, to try to squeeze out more money by turning Fruits into Jam.
You might want to craft and place multiple Furnaces since, at this point, you’ll need so many ingots for crafting, especially when you are trying to design your base over and over again.
