Where to Get Loot Filters in Path of Exile 2

Divine Orbs or nothing?

Path of Exile 2 drops so much loot that filters are almost mandatory. When you start juicing maps, you won’t see anything but text on your screen. That’s why you need to get those loot filters, and here’s how to get them in Path of Exile 2.

How to Install Loot Filters in Path of Exile 2

NeverSink’s FilterBlade has been the one-stop shop for everything related to item filters since Path of Exile 1. While it took them several months to create the same one for Path of Exile 2, it is now ready.

It’ll take some time to update, especially if you play Path of Exile 2’s new patch or season the minute it comes out. Expect the loot filter to get updated a few days after a major patch or season.

To install NeverSink’s FilterBlade, go to their site and log in to your Path of Exile account. Once connected, switch the version to PoE 2, as seen in the image above.

Go to FilterBlade’s main page, where you should see filters and presets. Use the default slider to create your own filter. The slider can also be used to pick normal, semi-strict, strict, and more.

The information on each filter setting is very different and complex, but “normal” should be the default (as if you are playing with no filter). Semi-strict hides less valuable items but shows enough items to let players get smaller currency. Strict makes things tighter but allows players to focus purely on value items, typically items valued at one Chaos Orb or more.

The higher the slider, the stricter the loot filter. Once you set a filter, you can save the preset or export it to your account in FilterBlade, and it’ll show up in your in-game settings.

How to Switch Loot Fitlers in Path of Exile 2

Once you have saved the loot filter on FilterBlade’s site, it’ll automatically “save” to your account. This is why it uses Path of Exile 2’s API. All you have to do is log in to the game.

Go to Options and go to the “Game” tab. Under the general settings, look for “Item Filter.” There’s a drop-down textbox along with a refresh and folder icon. If you are using FilterBlade, you don’t need to use the folder icon.

Click the textbox, and the filter you saved on the website should appear. Select it, and it should load the loot filter. You don’t have to restart the game; it’ll load the filter on the spot.

For console players, it should work the same way, but you’ll have to use a PC to make your loot filter in FilterBlade.
