Where to Get Copper Ingots in Hytale
Time to enter the caves!
Copper Ingots unlock the next tier of tools, which is important to rush to in Hytale. They allow you to farm more efficiently and to farm things you wouldn’t usually be able to farm.
It is the first step toward upgrading your tools further, but the biggest challenge is finding the Copper Ore nodes. Here’s a quick guide showing you where to get Copper Ores in Hytale.
How to Get Copper Ingots in Hytale
First, you’ll need to find Copper Ores to turn them into Copper Ingots. Copper Ores are usually found in the mountainous areas. Since worlds are procedurally-generated, you just open the map and look for the rocky terrain and go to them, as seen in the image above.
Copper Ores usually spawn attached to stone blocks, but they can sometimes be hard to see. Keep an eye out for them since they can spawn even outside the caves. When you go into these mountainous areas, some of them have pathways leading underground without even mining down.
Follow those areas down and bring some Torches with you.
You’ll eventually find Copper Ores sticking out every now and then. You can be lucky and find areas with more than 8 blocks of Copper Ores, but usually, they usually spawn in only 2-3 blocks. Use a Torch to see better. You can place them around so you don’t have to hold one.
After obtaining the Copper Ores, go back to your base and work on building a Furnace.
Go to your workbench and open the “Crafting” tab (3rd category at the top). Select Furnace, which requires 6x of any tree trunk and 6x of any stone. Craft one or two Furnaces and place them in your base.
Farm sticks and logs, and place them as the fuel for the Furnace. Place your Copper Ores on the input and wait for it to smelt into Copper Ingots. I suggest making at least two Furnaces, so you also have one for Iron, since these could take a while, especially if you are playing with a large group of friends.
