Where to find the Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring

Spirit Ashes are a tool that players in Elden Ring can use to summon valuable allies. The Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes is one of the best options, as it will summon a Mimic that will then copy the player. This powerful summon has a robust health bar, is armed with the same weapons as the player, and will do plenty of damage. To balance it out, the player will need a lot of Focus Points to summon them.

Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes Location

The Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes can be found in Night’s Sacred Ground, which is attached to a secret area in the game called Nokron, Eternal City. Players will need to defeat a specific boss before they can access it. To make matters worse, that boss is one of the shard-bearing demigods that make up the most powerful enemies in the game. To access the Eternal City, players will need to defeat General Radahn, the Starscourge.

You can see the exact location of the Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes on the map above for those who already have access to Night’s Sacred Ground. Everyone else can find instructions on gaining access to the area below.

General Radahn can be found at Redmane Castle in the southeast corner of Caelid. This is a tough fight, so players may need to level up before they can withstand the onslaught the Starscourge will throw at them. Once Radahn is defeated, his power with the world will diminish, and a falling star he has been holding back will smash into the map in the southern part of East Limgrave.

Players who travel south of the Erdtree in East Limgrave will notice a massive, floating plume of rock in the sky. Head this way, and seek out a path that runs down the inside of the crater. Follow it down, then jump from platform to platform to reach Nokron, Eternal City.

Making your way through Nokron is pretty simple, as there is only one route. This will lead you to a boss fight against the Mimic Tear, but this is not how you get the Ashes. After the fight, grab the Site of Grace, then venture out onto the bridge and the route to Night’s Sacred Ground.

Follow the bridge, and you will come to a ramp leading down to the left. Take this down and hug the left side of the area while keeping moving forward. You will come to a new Site of Grace, and ahead of you will be some rooftops. Crossing this will bring you to the Night’s Sacred Ground area. There is only one route to take, so follow it forward until you fight more mimics that turn into people. There is an awkward jump on a tower here, and be careful because the mimics will shoot bolts at you.

Take out the mimics, then turn to the left and follow the site of the building. You will come to a broken archway that crosses the street, so drop down onto it and cross the street. Drop in to the new building through the window, then follow the new room around to the left. You will reach a long corridor near an altar with a fog door at the end. You will need a Stonesword Key to open this fog door. Inside, you will find an enemy with a chest nearby, and inside is the Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes.
