Where to Find the Meteorite Staff in Elden Ring

The Meteorite Staff is an attractive early game option for casters in Elden Ring. As the weapon can be picked up in the open world, is not locked behind a dungeon or boss, and has a reasonably low Intelligence requirement, it’s an attractive option for the magically inclined.

Where to get the Meteorite Staff

The Meteorite Staff can be found on a body that is lying through a window in a ruined tower in Caelid. The building is located in the southern part of the Street of Sages Ruins. The two closest Sites of Grace are the Smouldering Wall to the north and Aeonia Swamp Shore to the south.

This entire area is covered in ankle-deep red water that will inflict a status effect on you. Before you venture toward the area, make sure you have a cure for Scarlet Rot, to be safe.

The only real downside to the Meteorite Staff is that it does not have a skill, and you cannot use Ashes of War on it. It’s still a solid early-game option; however, even if it is outperformed by staffs you will be able to get later on. It also has an S with Intelligence scaling, which means you will get a lot of bang for your buck with those early game intelligence upgrades. The passive bonus also provides a boost to gravity sorcery.
