How to Beat the Flatwoods Monster

It’s important to note that the Flatwoods Monster is not a singular being but a type of creature with multiple spawning throughout Appalachia. As such, it’s possible to encounter more than one but highly unlikely, as the Flatwoods Monster is often reserved as a final boss enemy during encounters and events.

That said, to beat the Flatwoods Monster, consider the following tips and tricks:

  • Do not use radiation damage, as the Flatwoods Monster is highly resistant.
  • The Alien-like creature can take control of turrets, animals, and other monsters.
  • There are three variations: Regular, Fabled, and Mythical. The latter is the strongest.
  • The Flatwoods Monster utilizes a laser beam attack that deals heavy energy damage.

Since you can’t use radiation-dealing weapons, we recommend bringing along the Tesla Rifle!
