Where to Find the Ahkdar Statue in COD DMZ

Search but don't destroy.

When you’ve made it to the Tier 4 missions for the Black Mous faction in the Call of Duty: DMZ mode, you’ll be tasked with completing Failed Bombings. This mission and its objectives involve defusing a specific bomb planted on the Ahkdar Statue, and extracting it so you can drop it within Ashika Island.

While the name of the statue may seem easy enough to follow on the Al Mazrah, the main POI you’ll be visiting is full of enemies and fairly convoluted to navigate. To make the mission quick and painless though, we have the location of the DMZ Ahkdar Statue right here.

COD DMZ – Where to Find the Ahkdar Statue

Where we need to go for this mission is similar to the name of the statue itself. Ahkdar Village is the required destination and you can find this POI in the southeast, directly below Zaya Observatory. You’ll notice that this area is heavily populated and has plenty of buildings.

The Ahkdar Statue will be on the eastern side of the village where you can see a square courtyard on the map. In the courtyard that surrounds the main statue, go to the middle and look at the bottom center of the Ahkdar Statue in COD DMZ. There you’ll find the bomb that must be defused and extracted before you can move on to the next mission.

Of course, that’s only the first part of the mission and you still need to take the explosives into the Ashika Island exclusion zone. It’s on that map that you need to bring the bomb to the designated Dead Drop before moving on to your next set of objectives in the DMZ.
