This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information

Somber Smithing Stone in Elden Ring is used to level up the plethora of special weapons that you will find throughout the game. They can be anything from curved blades that suck the blood of enemies to magically infused maces that do ice damage on impact.

In general, Somber Smithing Stone will be found in the game’s midgame and the regions that players will explore during it. This includes the Sellia Crystal Tunnel. This area in Caelid can just be run over and over to try and farm the stones, but there is a better way to get them.

The best way to get Somber Smithing Stone 6 in Elden Ring

The best way to get the Somber Smithing Stone 6 in Elden Ring is via the Twin Maiden Husks that will appear in the Roundtable Hold. They have a special shop and will sell you an expanded range of items if you can bring them all the Bell Bearings that are hidden throughout the game.

For Somber Smithing Stone 6, you need to find the Somber Miner’s Bell Bearing 3, which can be found at the First Church of Marika. The bad news is that this Site of Grace doesn’t appear until you have access to the Mountaintops of the Giants, one of the later game regions.

You can find the Somber Miner’s Bell Bearing 3 glowing on a corpse in this church. Bringing it to the Twin Maiden Husks in the Roundtable Hold will allow them to start selling you Somber Smithing Stone 5 and 6 for 9000 and 12000 Runes, respectively. To get the option to buy them, select the “Purchase” option after interacting with the NPC.
