Where to Find Diamonds in Stardew Valley

Diamonds are rare, but easy to find if you know where to look!

Diamonds are one of the most valuable resources in Stardew Valley. While the first and most obvious place to find Diamonds is, unfortunately, the most dangerous, there are several more ways to get your hands on these expensive gems without putting your life in peril. Here’s where to find Diamonds in Stardew Valley.

How to Get Diamonds in Stardew Valley

The best place to find Diamonds in Stardew Valley is in the Mine on the north side of Pelican Town. Once you hit level 50 and below, you will start to find Diamond Nodes that provide you with Diamonds if you smash them. Diamond Nodes are small, grey rocks with light blue Diamonds protruding from them.

While Diamond Nodes are the most lucrative and reliable way to find Diamonds, you can also find them in regular Gem Nodes on any floor of the Mines. In addition to that, monsters such as Slimes, Golems, Duggys, and Dwarvish Sentries can drop Diamonds as loot. Once you reach the bottom floor of the Mines, you will start being able to collect Diamonds as loot from any monster you defeat!

The Mines in Stardew Valley can be dangerous, especially when you reach level 50 and beyond. If you would like a safer way to find Diamonds, there are still a few options for you. Firstly, you could put Ice Pip or Stonefish in a Fish Pond. Ice Pips are found on level 60 of the Mines, so you would have to travel beyond level 50 to find one anyway. If you’re not ready for that yet, Stonefish can be found on level 20 of the Mines. Breed nine or more Stonefish in a Pond, and they will spawn Diamonds for you occasionally.

In addition to that, the Statue of Endless Fortune spawns Diamonds somewhat regularly, and you can also find Diamonds while Panning or in Fishing Treasure Chests. Panning and Fishing are unreliable ways of finding Diamonds, but you might get lucky. The Statue of Endless Fortune does have a decent chance of producing Diamonds, but it also costs 1,000,000G, so the Mines remain the cheapest, most easily accessible, and most reliable source of Diamonds.

How to Get an Infinite Source of Diamonds in Stardew Valley

If you have a Crystalarium, you only need one Diamond to create an infinite source of them in Stardew Valley. A Crystalarium is a device that can replicate Gems placed inside it. You can get one as a reward for completing one of the Vault Bundles in the Community Center, or you can craft one using 99x Stone, 5x Gold Bars, 2x Iridium Bars, and 1x Battery Pack.

Place the first Diamond you find in a Crystalarium, and you will never have to look for another one again!
