Where to Find Dawn Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Never pay a Delibird for what you can find yourself

If your spawn rates have been good, there’s a possibility that you’ve run into Ralts early on in your new journey as a trainer in the Paldea Region. Or maybe you’ve already made it to the Glaseado Mountain and you already have a Snorunt to call your own!

Whatever the reason, the next step is clear: you need a Dawn Stone to help your Pokemon reach the next level, both physically and metaphorically! Here’s where to find Dawn Stones in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Where to Find Dawn Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

You can find your very first Dawn Stone early on. Once you’ve been released to start the Treasure Hunt, take the West exit from Mesagoza to enter South Province (Area Two). While there are plenty of Pokemon around Cortondo to explore, you’ll want to keep heading North until you’re past the Asado Desert.

Once you’re in West Province (Area Three), keeping climbing the hills to the North and West of Medali Gym. There, you’ll find a series of ruins. Within these ruins will be a shiny pink item on the ground. Pick it up, and you’ll find a Dawn Stone!

If you preferred to go East instead of West, there’s also a Dawn Stone available in East Province (Area Three). Head North, towards the river, and East towards the sea. The Dawn Stone will be a pink, glowing sparkle on the ground, and will be surrounded by other items.

Unfortunately, while most evolution stones can be found at some point in Delibird Presents, a chain of shops found in Mesagoza, Cascafarra, and Levincia, Dawn Stones don’t seem to appear among their merchandise. Maybe that’s a blessing, as those Christmas birds really jack up the price (I refuse to believe humans run these stores).

But if you’re struggling to find the stone spawn in West or East Province (Area Three), check out Asado Desert, as they’ll also spawn there! So don’t worry about there only being two chances to use this Stone.

Good luck on your hunt, Trainer!
