Find out where to get this flying saucer looking creature in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Metagross has always been a fan favorite, not only for its sleek and stylish design but also for its power. Thankfully, with the introduction of this line in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk, you can find and capture one of your own if you know where to search.

Where To Get Metang in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk

Using the map above to find the habitat for this particular Pokemon, you’ll find that Metang likes to hang around in the colder areas of the map, alongside the more dark and dank areas like the Charged Cave. While exploring the Snowy Biome, you’ll likely encounter Metang while scaling the sides of the mountain ranges, whereas the Charged Cave will show them in various places.

After dropping into the Charged Caves, you may find them floating around in your general area, but I noticed that they tend to stick around the top layers of the cave. Since there are three distinct levels with different Pokemon, I would say stick to the high ground if you’re hoping to encounter one of these Pokemon, alongside other unique monsters like Porygon.

Since the Pokemon contained within Blueberry Academy are considerably more powerful than those found in most Paldea, you’ll encounter them usually in the Level 70 range. This means you’ll need some powerful monsters to take them down or plenty of Ultra Balls.

After you have captured one, it will be added to your new Pokedex, and you’ll be ready to work toward their evolution so you can have a powerful new monster to add to your team.

How To Evolve Metang Into Metagross in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

If you’re hoping to evolve your Beldum line of Pokemon to their final forms, you’ll want to follow these steps:

  • Beldum to Metang – Evolves at Level 20
  • Metang to Metagross – Evolves at Level 45

Now that you’ve added a Metagross to your team, make sure that you know where to find and capture a variety of other unique creatures with our help by checking out our Pokemon Scarlet and Violet section below. If you’re hoping to make Dripplin even more exciting, you can learn what you’ll need to do to evolve them to their final form, becoming one of the best new Pokemon added in quite some time.
