Where to Farm Seraphite in Destiny 2

Seraphite is native to Mars, which means that you’re going to have to head there if you want to harvest it organically. Of course, like most materials in Destiny 2, you’re going to be able to fork out some resources to obtain it from the right vendor, but let’s give you the rundown on how you can get it in the wild, so to speak.

If you’re just kicking around Mars wanting a break from trying to get the Dawning armor, you might want to ensure that you’ve got a Ghost that benefits from Mars Resource Detector to make finding Seraphite easier. Alternatively, if you’ve been really making the most of the Season of Dawn and been upgrading those pesky obelisks scattered around the galaxy, you may well have tweaked the one on Mars enough to get the relevant perk which makes it easier to detect materials on the planet thanks to your linked obelisk. Whichever method you use to obtain one of those buffs is largely inconsequential so long as you get your paws on it.

With that on hand, you can start farming Seraphite in earnest. Our recommendation would be to crack into as many public events as possible and to make trips to the various Lost Sectors. As long as you’re in the vicinity with a Resource Detector on, you should be able to net yourself your fair share of this material. As mentioned previously, another good alternative is to take a stockpile of Glimmer to Spider over in the Tangled Shore to swap for some of this Seraphite when he’s stocking it.

Now that you know how and where to farm Seraphite in Destiny 2, you just have to get out there and get involved. Need a hand with anything else in Destiny 2? Check out these tips and tricks that we’ve put together for your viewing pleasure:
