Where to Buy Bird Food in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

Bag some bird food.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life has you taking on the role of a youthful farmer who then travels through all of life’s seasons as they grow alongside their farm. It is equally a touching and nostalgic experience. One of the most important aspects of farm life is successfully raising livestock. Chickens and ducks will fast become your feathered friends. So, let’s make sure you know where to buy bird feed in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

How to Feed the Chickens in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

When it comes to cows, sheep, and horses, you are able to either grow your own fodder or purchase it. So, one might expect that you could similarly produce your own food for your ducks and chickens. Sadly, this is not the case, and you will need to purchase bird feed from Takakura’s ledger.

To make sure your chicken and ducks are well-fed, follow these steps:

  • Open Takakura’s ledger next to the barn.
  • Select the Order Feed option
  • Click on one of the three available order slots.
  • Buy bird feed for 100G each.

To feed your chicken and ducks, make sure that you are holding the bird feed, and then stand in front of the food trough and place it in. Make sure that once you place bird feed in the trough you do not add another until it is empty. If you place a new one inside, it will reset the amount of food that is there, and you will have wasted what was left of the previously inserted food. The first thing that I do when I start a new day is go to the bird coop and check that they still have food left. It’s part of my routine.

So, there you go! Now your chickens and ducks can be well-fed at all times and produce some eggs for you to use to either eat, cook, incubate, or sell. Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, whilst fun, often does not do an efficient job of explaining certain aspects of the game, such as how to obtain ducks.
