Where is the Abattoir of Zir Located in Diablo 4? – Answered

Now that we’re in the middle of the Season of Blood, the Abattoir of Zir has appeared in Diablo 4, and luckily it isn’t hard to find. However, it’s one of the toughest challenges in the game. In this guide I will cover where you can find and enter this Pinnacle Dungeon.

Where to Find the Abattoir of Zir in Diablo 4

The Abattoir of Zir is located through a portal in the city of Ked Bardu within the Dry Steppes. The portal to enter the Abattoir is located on the left of the southern gate. If you zoom in on Ked Bardu, you can see a symbol for trhe standard dungeon gate in Diablo 4 that also has a leaf marking seasonal content. This is exactly where you want to go.

When you approach the portal to the Abattoir of Zir, you can technically enter at any point. I was surprised this was the case the first time I entered because I didn’t have a Bloodforged Sigil yet. However, you can really only walk down the main path after entering the portal to investigate a book on an altar. Without the sigil, you still can’t start the real dungeon.

If you really want to enter the true Abattoir of Zir, you need to have a Bloodforged Sigil activated. They can be crafted an any Occultist, like the one in Ked Bardu, for 800 Sigil Powder at Tier 1. But they won’t appear in the crafting list unless you already completed the full Season Journey during the Season of Blood.

How to Enter the Abattoir of Zir:

• Complete the Season Journey in the Season of Blood.
• Bring 800 Sigil Powder to any Occultist and craft a Bloodforged Sigil.
• Activate the Sigil and enter the dungeon in Ked Bardu.

Keep in mind that all of this is content meant for players who want the most challenging dungeons. Anyone attempting the Abattoir should be able to clear a Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon. Even if you can clear one, if you struggled the entire time, the latest Pinnacle Dungeon is going to be rough. But if you can get through, a reward is waiting.
