When Does the Resident Evil 4 Remake Special Demo Release?

During the February PlayStation State of Play, fans were treated to a brand new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake. While the trailer itself was action-packed with familiar faces and new twists on an old classic, the thing that caught everyone’s eye was the announcement of a special demo. When does the demo release?

When Does the Resident Evil 4 Remake Special Demo Release?

Well, the only piece of information we have is the last frame of the trailer, which states “Special Demo Coming Soon.” With the game being out in just one month, the demo has to be sooner rather than later. While “Soon” could mean a lot of different things, we’re hoping it will be up shortly after the State of Play.

As more information comes out about the demo, we will update this point to accurately reflect all of the information that is known as soon as possible.

The PlayStation Blog states the following,

“Finally, we announced an upcoming demo for Resident Evil 4. This demo will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in the near future. Get ready to take on the demo, as ā€œsurvival is just the beginning.ā€”

So we know the demo will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, but it is still using terms like “Coming Soon” and “In the near future” which could be today, tomorrow, or next week.

Resident Evil 4 Remake releases on March 24, 2023. The trailer shown off at the State of Play reveals more of the castle, Krauser fight, enemies, and of course our beloved cast of characters.
