If you’re itching and raring to go catch 10 Eevee at once, thankfully you won’t have to wait too long. Mass Outbreaks unlock as soon as you’ve completed the first Trial and you meet and battle Mai for the first time in Deertrack Path in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

To check whether a Mass Outbreak is available, go to Jubilife Village and then speak to the guard at the gate to open the world map. A Pokemon icon will appear in an area telling you which swarm has appeared. Once you warp into that area, open your map to see the exact location of the Mass Outbreak.

How to Unlock Massive Mass Outbreaks in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Added in the 1.1.0 Daybreak Update, Massive Mass Outbreaks add a new spin on Mass Outbreaks. Instead of just having one type of Pokemon appear in an area, multiple can appear at once.

To unlock the feature, you need to have beaten the story and have the end credits roll. Once that’s done, Mai of the Diamond Clan will have a request for you called “A New Anomaly” at the Heights Camp in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Accept it and then go to Ramanas Island is where you’ll encounter a swarm of Zorua. After this, return to Mai who will ask you to speak to Cyllene in the Galaxy Building in Jubilife Village which kicks off the “Massive Mass Outbreak in the Fieldlands” request and leads to the feature being unlocked in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

To unlock Massive Mass Outbreaks everywhere else, complete Requests 97, 98, 99, 100, and 101.
