What is the Max Level in Warhammer 40K: Darktide? – Answered

You have plenty of levels to go before running out of progression, trust us.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide features more progression than you could ever ask for and plenty of ways to speed up that XP gain. Through special conditions, secondary objectives, and higher difficulties, you can earn increased XP that lets you get more feats faster, thus increasing your overall Power Level. With so much progression, you may be wondering what your peak can be. Here’s what the max level is Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

What is the Highest Level in Darktide?

In Darktide, there is no overall max level as levels exist purely for each character. You could have a level 13 Ogryn for example, while only having a level 6 Veteran, rather than being overall level 19. This means if you want the theoretical max level, you’ll need to hit the max level on each character. This is likely obvious for some of you, but we felt it was worth mentioning.

As for each character, the max level you can hit in Darktide is level 30, similar to Fatshark’s other franchise Vermintide (minus five levels). Once you hit this point, you will have every weapon for that character available in the shop, alongside every feat option available to you. You get a feat for every five levels, and six feats total. You’ll also have completed the “story”, having seen all cutscenes available.

This may seem small compared to the max levels and prestige levels for other games, but trust us when we say this will take you a long time to get. Getting to level 30 on any character takes you around 40 hours, and for all five slots (you’ll probably only use four of those five), you’d need to put in 200 hours in. That’s a lot of time, and isn’t even including completing all the different penances.
