Venturing into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 can be a daunting task, especially now that the Version 2.0 patch has dropped alongside the Phantom Liberty DLC. If you’re anything like me, you’re jumping back into the game after not touching it for multiple years, and the world feels confusing, so you’re ready to start the journey over again with a new character at base level. If you are trying to find out if you should grind out your current character or start a new one, knowing exactly where the level cap is can be rather important. Let’s dive in and find out so we know if we should just watch a synopsis of what happened up to this point or dive in with a new V.
What Is The Level Cap In Cyberpunk 2077 Version 2.0?
When leveling up your character, you’ll want to keep an eye on the two levels in the top left corner of the screen. As you progress through the main story and the Phantom Liberty DLC, you’ll obtain levels that can power up your character and levels that can allow you to use better gear. After the Version 2.0 update, the Max Level caps are as follows:
- Character Level – Level 60 (Level 50 before Version 2.0 update, Xbox One and PS4 Users)
- Street Cred Level – Level 50
You can check your progress from the main pause menu, from the Character screen, or just about anywhere. As you continue making your way through the story, you’ll increase your levels on both fronts, so keep up with the action and adventure to keep pushing toward the highest level possible on both fronts.
Cyberpunk 2077 has entered its redemption arc, offering players plenty of excellent opportunities to jump in and explore Night City how it was meant to be.
