What is the Hero Hall in Clash of Clans? – Explained

Best addition so far!

Clash of Clans has made some drastic improvements to the game by introducing significant quality-of-life features, and some of them even slightly change how you play. One of the biggest features is the introduction of the Hero Hall building. It helps centralize all the heroes into one hub while also affecting some attack and defense strategies. Here’s everything you need to know about the Hero Hall and how to unlock it in Clash of Clans.

How to Get the Hero Hall in Clash of Clans

The Hero Hall is a building that completely houses all the heroes as you unlock them. This means that there are no more hero altars in the game. However, the altars will be replaced by 2×2 undestroyable banners where players can appoint specific heroes to the banner for defense.

This allows players to clump up heroes next to defenses, and the Grand Warden will now roam around the area instead of being in a stationary building.

All of these are accessed through the Hero Hall, wh ich is unlocked at Town Hall level 7, which is coincidentally how you unlock your first hero, the Barbarian King. As you upgrade your Town Hall and Hero Hall, you’ll unlock more heroes and uncap their maximum level. All of these will be done in the Hero Hall, so you can expect every hero management action to be done in the Hero Hall.

For players who are above Town Hall level 7, you’ll get the appropriate Hero Hall level that corresponds to your Town Hall level for free. For example, if you are on Town Hall level 14 or TH14, you can instantly place a Hero Hall level 7. When you have a higher level, you’ll get a higher Hero Hall.

This is a significant change since it’ll save you weeks or months of upgrading your Hero Hall to your current power. The same goes for the new Minion Prince hero. Once you get your Hero Hall, the Minion Prince hero will be upgraded to the max level cap of the previous Town Hall level of your base.

What Are Hero Slots and How to Get More in Clash of Clans

With the introduction of a new Minion Prince hero, players now have access to five heroes. However, you can only play four heroes simultaneously. If you have a lower Town Hall level, you’ll have even fewer hero slots.

So, how do you unlock more hero slots in Clash of Clans? The total hero slots are directly dependent on the level of your Hero Hall. Your first hero slot is available at Town Hall 7 and Hero Hall level 1. The next hero slots are unlocked in intervals of two levels up to level 7, meaning you’ll get hero slots 2, 3, and 4 at Hero Hall levels 3, 5, and 7.

Since there are five heroes, you’ll have to assign the four heroes you want to use for attacking and defending. This can be changed in the Hero Hall, including swapping equipment and pets.

Overall, this is an awesome update for everyone, as players can now freely upgrade a hero without losing attacking or defending power. Everyone can now have one hero upgrading at all times, and this should help a lot of players catch up in levels without sitting out for Clan Wars and CWL.
