Clash of Clans Removes Training Time After 13 Years

Farming gets way easier now!

Clash of Clans announces a massive patch that will forever change the game. After a few weeks, they’ll release a preview showcasing the state of Clash of Clans without the troops and spells training time. Here’s what to expect from Clash of Clans’ next big update.

Clash of Clans Adds Instant Troops and Spells Training

Clash of Clans removes training time completely to let players instantly get whatever units they wish for their army. This is a crucial change as players don’t need to wait half an hour to train a new army and fight to get some loot or participate in wars.

The crucial change makes items like Training Potions and Training Boosts from events and season passes irrelevant. However, they are still considering ways to replace these bonuses in the future.

However, one big issue also arises from instant troops: donations. Since everything is trained and brewed instantly, troop and spell requests don’t really “matter” anymore. Once troops and spells become instant, donations will be replaced with appropriate Elixir and Dark Elixir values depending on the troop and spell.

Other Big Changes Coming With the Massive March Update

Apart from troops, spells, and siege machine training being instant, the heroes’ recovery time is also removed. It makes sense because if you plan to attack multiple times, you want your heroes available with your army with every attack.

This change will bring about another huge issue. If you have noticed getting stuck in the clouds when finding a match, the game struggles to find an enemy player without a shield.

If player activity gets too high, there are fewer players to attack. This can be a huge problem if many players start attacking too often. As part of the update, Clash of Clans introduces a new server tech called “Match Anytime.”

The Match Anytime system allows players to find enemy bases with shields active. When a player finds a base with shields active and continues the attack, the attacking player will get the loot and trophies like normal. However, nothing will happen to the defending player’s base. They won’t get any deduction in trophies or lose their precious resources.

This adds way more resources circulating in Clash of Clans, which should make it easier for players to spend more time in-game and be rewarded for being more active. The sneak peek should come out sometime in March.
