MW2 Season 4 – What is the Best Assault Rifle?

The best assault rifle in MW2 Season 4 is the TAQ-56, even with so much competition in the AR category. Compared to other weapons in the game, the TAQ continues to prove that it has the best mid-range capabilities. Having recoil control that makes firing the weapon incredibly easy makes the TAQ even more appealing.

Other weapons are close competitors to the TAQ-56 in MW2 Season 4. Both the M4 and the Kastov-74u are still fantastic options. In most cases, these rifles will beat the TAQ in close-quarters fights. However, they will still lose fights against the best submachine guns, and they don’t have great potential for mid-range battles.

In terms of DLC weapons, the Tempus Razorback is a decent option for MW2 Multiplayer in Season 4, and with the latest round of buffs, the M13B is also a deadly pick. I personally have been utilizing the M13B as much as I can in DMZ and MW2 Search & Destroy.
