Here’s how to find all three bells and reach the secret Ancient Guanyin Temple area.

How to Get to the Secret Ancient Guanyin Temple in Black Myth Wukong

Ringing the three bells in Black Myth: Wukong will actually teleport you to a secret area, the Ancient Guanyin Temple, where you will face the Elder Jinchi boss. However, some of the bells are missable, so here are the locations for all three bells in Black Wind Mountain.

First Bell Location

The first Bell is located in the Forest of Wolves, near the Outside the Forest Keeper Shrine location, where you encounter the Wandering Wight miniboss. Rather than progressing past the Wandering Wight, take some time to explore the forest area until you reach an entrance to an arena.

Inside the arena is an optional boss, Guangzhi, who must be defeated. Behind him is the first bell.

Second Bell Location

The second bell is located in the arena where you fight Guangmou in Bamboo Grove, past the Snake Trail Keeper Shrine. This boss is mandatory to progress through the story, so it’s hard to miss.

Within the arena where you fight Guangmou, you’ll notice a staircase leading up to a large shrine. The bell is just at the top of the staircase.

Third Bell Location

The third bell is located in an area next to where you fight the Whiteclad Noble after the Marsh of the White Mist Keeper Shrine. Once entering the arena, look to your left for an opening in the wall, which leads to an area with four wolves awaiting you.

Behind a hanged wolf is the shrine with the third bell.

What Does Ringing the Three Bells Do in Black Myth Wukong?

Ringing all three bells will teleport you to the Ancient Guanyin Temple, a secret area containing the Elder Jinchi boss fight. Don’t worry, you don’t have to beat the boss to escape, as there is a Keeper Shrine located immediately at the entrance.

If you’re having trouble beating Elder Jinchi, just fast travel out of the Ancient Guanyin Temple for now. You can always return when you’re ready. However, if you manage to defeat Elder Jinchi, you’ll be rewarded with the Fireproof Mantle.
