What does the Remembrance of the Grafted do in Elden Ring?

Downing their first demigod in Elden Ring will net players the Remembrance of the Grafted as a reward. Like many aspects of a Soulsbourne game, it can be a little confusing when trying to figure out what it actually does. In this guide, we will tell you what to do with it and why you want to gather up as many of these Remembrances as possible.

Players will get the Remembrance of the Grafted after dealing with Godrick the Grafted, the first demigod boss in the game. If you are struggling with Godrick, consider tagging in a friend for some cooperative fun. He is found in Stormveil castle and will channel draconic powers to try and halt players on their journey to become the Elden Lord. The Remembrance of the Grafted is a useful item that will allow players access to unique weapons and abilities that Godrick uses.

This Remembrance can be brought to Enia the Finger Reader in Roundtable Hold, who will become available only after players slay their first demigod boss and receive their first Remembrance. Players will easily find the Finger Reader by spawning in at Roundtable Hold and turning to the right to discover that a previous locked set of double doors will now be open.

Speaking with Enia will give players the option to trade the Remembrance of the Grafted for one of two different objects, the Axe of Godrick or the Grafted Dragon. The Axe of Godrick is an impressive weapon for those focusing on a Strength build, although it requires 34 Strength and 22 Dexterity to wield and does strictly physical damage. It comes with the “I Command Thee, Kneel” skill that will smash the axe into the ground, unleashing damaging shockwaves.

The Grafted Dragon is a fist weapon that requires 20 Strength, 14 Dexterity, and 16 Faith to use. It does a mix of Physical and Fire damage and has the ability to spew fire at enemies. Remember, you can only grab one of these per Remembrance, so make sure you choose the one most suitable for your build. You will also receive a different Remembrance for each demigod boss that you kill, so make sure you track them all down to achieve the ultimate power in Elden Ring.
