Watch Dogs: Legion, a seemingly ambitious take on the previously character-focused Watch Dogs series, is right around the corner. In this game you’ll be able to take control of myriad NPCs, as the Dead-Sec hacker group protests some sort of fictional, facist installation. It’s a complicated game, and as we head into the next generation of consoles (of which this game participates), and that means it’s a demanding game. Ubisoft has released the system requirements for the PC version of Watch Dogs: Legion, and there are a whole lot of them.
Watch Dogs: Legion System Requirements Guide
There’s a good reason for all this information, though. Gaming has become complicated by the widening variety of display resolutions, and how those displayers intersect with various features, fidelity levels, and emerging technologies. The big one for this generation, which you’ll be seeing all over marketing over the next few years, is Ray-Tracing. Because of that, we’re looking at two sets of three system requirements, which the folks at Ubisoft smartly separated.

The system requirements sets here are separated by three different resolution goals: 1080p, 1440p and 4K. This also correlates to visual setting presets High, Very High and Ultra. Then, the sets of requirements are split into two groups, a simple yes or no on enabling Ray-Tracing. So with that being said, here are the requirements as posted onto the official website over in Ubisoft territory:

That’s a lot to digest in simple text form. Ubisoft also released a more streamlined infographic, which you can take a look at right here:
That’s the long and short of it. Mostly long of course. Watch Dogs: Legion comes out at the butt-end of October 2020, and if you’re rocking a gaming PC, this is all information you’re going to want to be aware of. Next-generation consoles always have a sort of parallel impact on PC gaming, despite the gap in performance between the two. These numbers are only going to go up as the restraints over on the console side loosen up over time.
