Call of Duty: Warzone has entered a new event period, and it’s all about getting into the Halloween spirit. Heck, there are even some IP crossovers with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the Saw/Jigsaw series. But there’s a lot more to the Haunting of Verdansk than premium cosmetics. You can go for a Trick or Treat scavenger hunt on Verdansk, and find a whole set of free Halloween cosmetics. And you get a time-limited Blueprint if you find all of them.
Haunting of Verdansk Trick or Treat Guide
From today through November 3, 2020, some special item boxes will be strewn throughout the Verdansk map. Opening them presents a chance for one of the 16 event items available, but sometimes you find a “trick” instead. You won’t take any damage from it, but it might startle you at first. That said, boxes only spawn in certain locations on the map, and they don’t always spawn in the same location. Luckily, an in-game checklist can help you cross locations off, as certain items can only show up in a specific area.

- Karst River Quarry
- Verdansk International Airport
- Storage Town
- Atlas Superstore
- Zhokov Boneyard
- Hospital
- Novi Grazna Hills
- BCH TV Station
- Verdansk Stadium
- Downtown
- Gorengrad Lumber Yard
- Port of Verdansk
- Zordaya Prison Complex (Gulag)

As you can see, while there are 16 items there are only 15 possible Trick or Treat box locations. You won’t be able to drop into the same spot every time and have a chance to find a box, especially if you’ve found the location-specific items. But those are all the possibilities, and it’ll likely take you several rounds if you’re trying to get everything. As you pick up treats, you’ll eventually end up with the following items:
- Freak of Nature – Spray
- Chainsaw Fiend – Spray
- Flashy Fate – Sticker
- The Harvester – Emblem
- Ghoulish GIft – Emblem
- Scary Patch – Emblem
- The Cleaver – Melee weapon
- Spooky Scene – Calling Card
- Jack-O-Lantern – Charm
- Skeleton Crew – Spray
- Time of the Season – Watch
- Lil’ Demon – Charm
- The Joker – Sticker
- The Woodsman – Spray
- Return to Dust – Assault Rifle Blueprint
- Pumpkin Peril – Calling Card
If you collect all 16 items here, you’ll receive the Pumpkin Punisher, a Legendary Assault Rifle Blueprint that looks pretty rad. The whole gun turns orange, and has a big spooky pumpkin face engraving on the side.
Like we said, you only have until November 3 to get a hold of all this stuff. So if you like collecting holiday-themed cosmetics in games like this you probably need to set some time aside to put the time in. If you miss out, you miss out!
