Kafka will reach out to the Trailblazer anonymously, asking for their help to keep them hidden as Kafka and Blade still appear to be on the Xianzhou.
Fun Fact: Before you even go to Kafka, you actually can talk to Himeko and Welt to gain their insight on whether or not you should go before you even head out. This dialogue is special for Kafka’s companion quest and if you’re having trouble deciding, will help you draw a conclusion.
After traveling to the Divination Commission and following the navigation to Kafka, you’ll enter a conversation with her in which you do have the option to appear hesitant in actually accepting her request despite coming all this way. In the end, she’ll ask if you intend to help her or not. Naturally, many people would love to help Honkai: Star Rail’s favored character, so who are we to refuse?

One of the two achievements of Kafka’s Companion Quest is “Free Will” but refuse Kafka’s request and you will get the achievement “True Free Will”. Since the Stellaron Hunters are so big on destiny and Elio is clearly planning something big, even having insight on events that are occurring around the Honkai: Star Rail universe, it makes sense that Kafka’s speech on predetermined destiny and our little choice of doing anything but help her.Â
This is actually a very interesting take to pull, however, some players may not be so happy about the conclusion if they do refuse. Be careful what you choose in Honkai: Star Rail! Your decision just may be detrimental to your gameplay and experience!
But this is an RPG after all, you should know that every choice should be weighed carefully.
